Business Analysis (Sharepoint Online/ Office Upgrade)


Torch was engaged to supply business anaylsis services to Icon Water for their SharePoint Online/ Office 365 upgrade project.


Torch was asked by Icon to provide the services of a business analyst to identify, define and document business activities, processes
and workflow to ensure the upgrade would take into consideration Icon’s software requirements and that the new system was fit for


Torch provided Icon with one of our highly skilled consultants who is a Sharepoint online specialist and with demonstrated
experience in Intranet development, project server and record point upgrades. Torch’s consultant has extensive experience
working in large complex environments. Working with key stakeholders and SME’s we employed Agile (Scrum)methodology.

Our consultant researched and documented business processes for the project, prepared the requirements documentation and
assisted in the evaluation, design, testing and implementation of the systems.


Torch was able to successfully assist Icon with this initial stage of their upgrade project. Our consultant was instrumental in influencing
key stakeholders and ensuring they had the right processes and information, so much so – the client asked Torch if they could move our
consultant on to become the project lead / manager. Torch continues to play an instrumental part on this project.
