Icon Water are undertaking a large Digital Transformation and Asset Management Program. Icon manages over 2 billion dollars of water and wastewater assets.
Torch was engaged by Icon to develop the overall Test Strategy for the Business Transformation Program (BTP) with a strong focus on the implementation of an Oracle WAM product.
Torch’s Test Director has developed the test strategy across the BTP and has provided recommendations to the wider Icon business in relation to workflow testing, privacy, risk and automation.
We have provided an overall view of what testing is required and how this must be integrated to ensure a successful project.
Torch has driven the documentation of primary business functions and mapping workflows as part of the test strategy. The Test Director has been instrumental in assessing and evaluation of testing tools and vendors.
Icon are very pleased with the recommendations and strategy and subsequently engaged Torch to implement the strategy and provide advice on automation once the implementation and integration was completed.
Torch continues to work closely with Icon’s senior management team, and wider project teams to implement the test strategies and ensure a successful BTP.
